Konstantinos D. Kapetanopoulos was born in Andravida in 1961. He studied art at Joanna Economidous school and acting at the Veaki School. He had lessons in costume design from Faidonas Patrikalakis.
He was still a very young man when he began travelling around Asia and Europe with a view to experiencing the difference in cultures. He regarded travel as his noviciate.
Since 1981 he has participated in various exhibitions. He held group exhibitions in the Desmos Gallery in 1986, in the Athens Municipal Cultural Centre in 1989 and a solo exhibition in the Athenian Iris gallery (read a review) in 2004. His work forms part of private collections in Greece and elsewhere in Europe. He works in Greece and in the United Kingdom.
